About Us
Mzizi Empowerment Innitiative
Mzizi Empowerment initiative is a Kenyan registered community based organisation under the Ministry of Labor and Social protection. The organisation has been running since 2018 and was officially registered in 2022. We have programs running in Nairobi, Murang’a, Kiambu, Narok, Machackos and Makueni. The communities we serve are semi-urban and rural communities.
Vision:
Create a thriving community where everyone has access to nutritious plant-based food options, leading to improved health, environmental sustainability, and a more compassionate world for all beings
Fun fact:
Mzizi is a swahili word that means root.
Mission:
Empower individuals and communities towards food security through access to plant-based nutrition, education and resource allocation fostering a sustainable, healthy, and compassionate lifestyle.
